Pageant Rules and Guidelines:
Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the Foot Model Pageant, contestants must:
- Be between 18 and 64 years of age.
- Have an interest in, or be actively involved in, the niche sector of foot modelling.
- Commit to the pageant for its full duration.
- Be a South African citizen with a valid ID.
- Hold a valid passport and/or visa if entering the Global category.
- Be comfortable performing niche-related activities in front of a camera.
- Not be pregnant at any stage during the pageant.
- Have access to a quality camera (smartphone cameras are acceptable if of good quality).
- Have reliable Wi-Fi or mobile data services.
- Be aware that any money spent by the contestants or in favor of the contestants to complete the activities assigned for the pageant, will be the responsibility of the contestants only. The pageant affiliates and host are not liable for any money spent during the pageant by the contestants.
- Demonstrate professionalism, good sportsmanship, and respect in all interactions.
- Ensure that no artificial nails, extensions, or chemical enhancements are used in respect of the niche.
Additional Rules and Guidelines
- Contestants must maintain professional conduct throughout the competition.
- No offensive, explicit, or inappropriate content will be accepted.
- Deadlines must be met; late submissions may result in disqualification.
- Plagiarism or misrepresentation (e.g., edited or stolen photos/videos) will result in immediate disqualification.
- Contestants consent to the host using their images and videos for promotional purposes related to the pageant and platform.
- Any form of harassment, bullying, or disrespect toward fellow contestants, judges, or organizers will not be acceptable.
- Contestants are encouraged to promote themselves ethically on social media to gain votes and visibility.
Competition Guidelines
The Foot Model Pageant consists of 3 phases.
Entry and Fees
- Application fee: $20 for one category.
- Additional categories: $12 each.
- Contestants may enter multiple categories.
- The application fees are non refundable.
- Progression through activities depends on performance; not all entrants will advance from phase 1 to phase 2 or from phase 2 to phase 3.
Pageant Phases
Phase 1: Phase one relates to the application procedures, photo and video sets along with requested activities & start of voting.
Phase 2: Phase two relates to photo and videos sets, discussions, requested activities and challenges or trends, voting continues.
Phase 3: Phase three relates to photo and video sets, discussions, requested activities and challenges, being a part of a final, last round of voting.
Voting and Judging
- All successful entrants will receive a unique voting code.
- Supporters can vote via SMS or the official website.
- Contestants do not receive monetary benefits from voting; proceeds go to network providers and the pageant host.
- Contestants who reach Phase 2 will receive a limited premium subscription to the Heptagon Studios website to follow the streaming of the pageant.
- Judges’ decisions are final.
- Voting contributes to results but does not override judges’ discretion.
Prizes
Winners of each category may receive prizes as follows:
- A personal page/section on the Heptagon Studios video streaming platform, with support to create and monetize posted content (high value).
- A chance to feature in Heptagon Studios series productions.
- Brand affiliate deals.
- Complimentary spa and treatment appointments.
- Monetary prizes.
- Niche-related beauty and style products.
Note: Prizes and their value are subject to the pageants and hosts internal processes and overall success of the pageant.
